Currently you have lost all your inventory, but will get them back soon. Search
around this place for some items before leaving, use the Save Crystal near the
exit. Afterwards, defeat three Seeq enemies by using Vaan and Balthier. Fran
rejoins party after this battle.

Next area, you will get your items back as well as the map before the Save
Crystal. Don't open the other treasure chests here, like the one in front of
the Dalan's Place and the Elixir in the palace, it has some connections with
'Strongest Halberd' weapon which you can obtain later. Read the "11. Weapons"
section for more details about this weapon, again, it's call Zodiac Spear as
well. Next place, defeat the imperial militaries when necessory. An event
happens when you come to the central North area. The Judge has opened the
door, get in there to meet with Basch, and he will join as guest character.
