Downtown/Lowtown

Reach to Southern area here, enter Old Dalan's Place near the water way. Don'topen the treasure chest in front of this room, it has some connections with a weapon called 'Strongest Halberd' which you can obtain it later. More details about this weapon, read the "Weapons" section, it's call Zodiac Spear on the US version. After the scene with Dalan, head to Southgate section through the circle gate that's nearby. You can see the first Gate Crystal here, it works as Save Crystal, the extra feather is teleport function. Choose the second option is to teleport, but you have to activate the Gate Crystal in other location to be used, and currently you don't have other places to go. Anyway, teleporting using the Gate Crystal requires an item called "Teleport Stone (Telepo-Stone)", which are fixed under "Loot" section in Inventory list.

Before leaving the town, thing that you must know is about the clan. In the Northernmost Street section, go to the West area, there is a room you can't enter before you talk to the bangaa in front. Just speak with him to enter that room, the Clan Headquarter. Speak to the moogle named Montblanc at upstair to become a member of the clan. Later of the game you can always return him for rewards when your clan rank increases, when you defeated certain bosses and more. Also they're certain Mob Hunt missions you can only get from Montblanc. You can join as member anytime before you move on the final place of the game, you will still get the rewards.

You can also find the clan shop in Bazaar section, where located South-West of here. Things that are selling in the clan shop will always update when your clan ranking increase. Again, the clan shop will only exist after you became a clan member.

Next, go outside from Southgate of Rabanastre.

Royal City Of Rabanastre

Back to Rabanastre Eastgate and talk to the Kytes. After the scene, you came to North End, just go forward until the Stairwell to Downtown (named Lowtown for American version) at East and enter. Before that, you can find your Tomaj in The Sandsea for reward, but you could find him later, he will still give you the rewards.

The "Equip" is added in the Party Menu, but so far you don't have other
equipment to change to. Starting out in the pool, you have to defeat all
rats around to trigger an event. Afterwards, "World Map" is added in the
Party Menu, and you will come to the street. From current section, go to
South-East area for an event. Next head to The Sandsea to the North-East
and go inside to trigger another event. Let Tomaj explain Licenses.

** NOTE: you can actually view your current destination in the Map screen,
your destination is marking as "X with a circle" in red colour,
remember always view the Map if you get lost.

After talking with Tomaj, you begin the first Mob Hunt mission which is
Rogue Tomato, an enemy outside of the town, as for more details of other
Mob Hunts, read 'Mob Hunt' section under "7a. Side Quest & Mini-Game".
"Licenses" and "Clan Report" are added in the Party Menu (Clan Report was
named as Clan Primer for the American version). Now head to the Eastgate
through the central section (Southern Plaza), a Save Crystal can be found
there. Next go outside to the Dalmasca Estersand, don't forget to equip the
accessory that's given by Tomaj, the Orrachea Armlet.

Barheim Treasure Map

Thanks to goldeneye86 and spirit_guy_25 for their contributions here

By the way, you can get additional Franciscas from Mimeos (rare drop), as well
as Gigas Hats (+38 Magick Defense, +530 HP) as rare steals from Dead Bones
enemies.

Deathbringer

In Special Op. Sector 5, which is west of the Gate Crystal, run past the
Silicon Tortoise and keep going until you see a rock on the right side of the
tracks. On the far side of that rock there will be a chest. If there are two
of them, the silver-looking one is Ithuno. If the silver chest is not there,
reload your game. Examine the silver chest to provoke Ithuno. Let it chase
you all the way back to the entrance of Special Op. Sector 5. At this point,
just keep stealing until you get a Deathbringer. If you need to heal, go back
one screen and heal before returning (Ithuno will still be there, like the
Lindbur Wolf). Don't move back two screens or you will reset the area. Once
you've obtained your Deathbringer, head back to the Gate Crystal and save
your game. Now quit and reload. Repeat the entire process if you want another
one. Rinse and repeat as many times as you like.
