Demonsbane

Head to the Tomb of Raithwall. Kill both Demon Walls. They should be easy with
your equipment. Activate the side stairs in the area of the first Demon Wall by
examining the area where the Demon Wall was and then save your game outside at
the Gate Crystal. Time for another weapon.

Now take those stairs you opened up all the way to the back. Once you reach
Royal Passage, go all the way down until the two paths converge. There is a
70% chance that there will be a chest here. If there is, there will be a
22.5% chance that it holds one Demonsbane. You can fight through all of the
Tallows, or just grab the chest and run. If the chest isn't there or if you
don't get the sword, reload your game and try again. If you run out of
patience, then don't worry about it. The Demonsbane is merely temporary and
will become obsolete once we get out of Raithwall. However, the fun part is
that the chest respawns, so you can grab the Demonsbane, run back to the
save point, save, reload, and try your luck again ad infinitum/nauseum.

Kotetsu

Kotetsu

Stats: +50 katana
Method: Rare drop from Werewolf - Giza Plains, Starfall Fields

Save your game at Giza Plains, Crystal Glade. Head west and you'll find
two Werewolves stalking around in the southwestern corner. They are weak to wind.
Perfect! Go to town on them with your Gladius. You can chain them by heading two
screens east (don't touch the save point) and returning. You'll likely
also build up a few more levels this way.

The Werewolves aren't pushovers, though, even with the Gladius. You can buy
Protect from Nalbina (thanks for the reminder from prinnypayday@yahoo.com) to
help you move things along. If things get really rough, consider investing
some LP into a Mist Quickening (MQ). A few Red Spirals should be all you need
as a desperation move.

Yiazmat

BOSS : Yiazmat
HP : around 50,000,000

The last Mob Hunt mission, it's located in Ridorana Cataract, the round section at South where knowing as Colosseum. You must complete all other Mob Hunt mission and defeat Hell Wyrm/Majinryuu optional boss, then back to Clan HQ and talk to Montblanc to receive this mission.

#- General Strategy
It's like a enhanced version of Hell Wyrm/Majinryuu (above), and you can run away anytime like Hell Wyrm/Majinryuu fight. With everything for the Hell Wyrm/ Majinryuu battle (except the weapon has some changes), and your main team raise above than 70 level, you can fight this boss in a long period without escaping. However, Yiazmat's weakness is Dark and it can absorb Holy, so Excalibur should be keep away from this fight.

Some weapons which are not using in the Hell Wyrm battle,
- Yagyuu Darkblade or Orochi, Fomalhaut + Dark Shot

Basically, you can just use the Gambit setup for Hell Wyrm/Majinryuu (above), just to add some Gambit to cure other negative statuses, be prepared to cure Petrify, Stop, Sap. Also prepare some Phoenix Down and Arise spell to revive your team from time to time since Yiazmat will use Deathstrike to your team randomly. But I've noticed Yiazmat likes to use it when the spotted character is near or at the staircase, so if you hate Deathstrike, don't stay at the staircase, fight it at the stage. Sometimes, Death Strike gives you a little benefit since it takes Yiazmat longer time to recover, means Yiazmat needs a few more second to start its next more if it does perform Deathstrike on you.

Later, the Death attack come even faster, maybe Arise would be useless, just keep on using the Phoenix Down to revive your ally. After half of its life, its defence and attack power will be raised. Same time, it might cast Reflecga spell to you, make sure you don't cast the healing spells when you got Reflect status. To reduce the damage of Cyclone Tornado, you can equip the Windbreaker (light equipment) when it's going for this move, it can reduce 50% damage of Wind elemantal attack. Since it's like Hell Wyrm, so you can flee from the battle and heal your party on the Save Crystal, just be sure Yiazmat is not in Regen status when you leave.

#- Overwall attack trick
But there's a little trick to trap Yiazmat and attack him without worring much. Everything has already mentioned in 7a-2 Mob Hunt section, check it out for the details, and here is the basic steps to trap it:

You can actually use this trick for 95% of the battle. Only problem is when Yiazmat down the 2 life bar (1 red dot left under his HP bar), he will restore his HP, so this trick doesn't work anymore, you have to close combat to stop him from restoring HP. And it's not a Regen, so yuo can't Dispel it. So be sure you save your game when Yiazmat remains 2 life bars.

Again, this is a tough boss, by using the overwall attack technique, you can be at lower levels like 65~70 since he can't attack you. But in the end, you will eventually fight him face to face, and you should be at least 75 level. Only attack and cure isn't a good idea unless you're over 90 level, you can have a try for the tough fight like other bosses. Or else, I recommend either use Decoy + Reverse tactic or use Reverse to all character during the fight, means transfer Yiazmat's powerful attack to heal your team, that's the reason of using Reverse.

Bomb King

BOSS : Bomb King
HP : 37596

From the Gate Crystal of Salikawood, go North will encounter this boss.

Some mini bombs join with the boss, beware of their self-destruction, but you can kill them before they explode. Remember to cure oil status before the boss flame you. It will fully restore its HP when it left around half of the life bar, before it restore HP, mostly it will goes far from you. But after few times it will stop restoring HP for a while. This boss also knows to spawn new mini bomb to help itself. Not much HP for this boss, a good Mist Knack combo can cut off half of its life bar.

Earth Tyrant/Earth Dragon

BOSS : Earth Tyrant/Earth Dragon
HP : 71,000

After passed the event in Tomb Of Raithwall, back to Dalmasca Westersand, go to North-East, you will see a dragon going through the sand storm. Now:

- Back to Westgate of Rabanastre City, talk to the bangaa Rimzat.
- Still in Rabanastre City, head to the central section and talk to Cotze, he is in the fountain.
- Go to Downtown, around Storehouse No.5, talk to the man named Northon, he is crouching    beside the bangaa.
- Back to Dalmasca Westersand, go find the Dynast-Cactoid in the Eastern section before you    reach to the Gate Crystal, where known as Windtrace Dunes. It's located in the smaller site, so    you should go there from the South area.
- Check on the inner Dynast-Cactoid of this section for the Wind Globe.
- Return to Westgate of Rabanastre City, now those NPCs who giving you the mission should be    there. Speak with them to get Windvane.
- Now move to North-East section of Dalmasca Westersand, you're able to cross the sand storm.

Becareful when the boss perform the Air Screw which can damage all characters. Normal attack not that powerful, tail attacks even weaker as long as you have character with shield. But also don't forget always heal your characters before anyone of them KO. Slow spell does work for this boss, but also you might miss it sometimes. When it has less then half of the life bar, it will auto increase the defend, just spend some times to finish off it. Anyway, this could be some challenges if your characters are around level 30.

Fury

BOSS : Fury
HP : around 52,000

One of the two bosses that you must fight before gain Chaos esper. For more details about the ways to get this battle, you can look for Chaos - The King Of Reincarnation under "Esper/Summon" section.

Dispel all supporting spells whenever Fury recast them. It's not much HP, one Mist Knack/Quickening combo can cut off a half of its life bar. When Fury's HP down half, it will use Bucchas's Wine, if you had Dispel the berserk status, it will repeat using Bucchas's Wine again, even would cancel any attack just for using Bucchas's Wine, this is a way you can delay Fury to make more advantages on your ally. Another way is by using the area space, when Fury targeting on
your leader, run further from Fury and let other characters to attack it. Fury can increase its defensive power and chance of evasion when it starts using Bucchas's Wine as you can see many "PARRY", keep you Mist Knack/Quickening to kill it off, or just use the Dispel tactic till the battle end. Besides, you can also send Sap, Silence and Slow effect to this boss.

Shadowseer/Darkness God

BOSS : Shadowseer/Darkness God
HP : 278,078

One of the clan's Mob Hunt mission from Monblanc which named 'The Seer'. This mission will show after completing various mob hunt from Clan HQ, it's rank S.

When you're handling this mission, back to Pharos at Ridorana after the events.  So now an elevator available in 1F, take it to underground B1F. Now you have to collect enough Black Pearls from killing monsters, fill those Black Pearls onto the Altars at four different corner to get to lower floors. Below is the number of Black Pearls for each Altar before to the bottom level.
(defeat Phoenix optional boss at B1F)

B1F - South-West 6, South-East 3, North West 9, North-East 18
B2F - South-West 18, South-East 15, North West 9, North-East 15
B3F - South-West 12, South-East 27, North West 21, North-East 15

Also defeat the Phoenix optional boss above at B1F while you're going through. Once you have done, take the elevator to Unknown Goal which is the most bottom. You can't escape from the fight, better back up to save before fight against this dude.

The boss knew many spells included elemental or non-elemental, normally he will show them later. Cast support spells on your party before entering the arena.

1. Beginning
The boss has Immobilize status in his normal attack. Other, he will use Darkness and Shining Ray randomly, both of them deals large damage on your characters in an area. You can equip those Dark element absorber such as Demon Shield, Black Mask to absorb the Darkness, for Shining Ray which is Holy element, you can equip those Holy absorber such as Sage's Ring and the White Mask to absorb it. If you don't mind to always change your equipments, just pay attention when he's charging Darkness, equip those Dark element absorber, when he's charging Shining Ray, change to Holy element absorber. Remember cast Dispel to him for the first.

2. Facing other bosses - 1
When the boss leaves around 75% HP, he will summon out Pandaemonium, Slyt, Fenrir which you fought in each Ascent, and Phoenix optional boss which you fought in Subterra B1F. Now you can hit Shadowseer/Darkness God since he has builded up the barrier, all you need to do is focus to defeat other bosses one by one. During this moment, pay attention on what was Shadowseer/Darkness God is going to do, he will keep on attacking your team with different move, the
worst thing is will blow off your MP anytime. Normally this boss would invert your HP/MP after your MP get drained, if he doesn it, your will be switch at very low HP or even death. Use Charge (technick/skill) to refill a little MP before Invert came. Use X-Potion to recover instantly after you get inverted since item is always faster than spell. After that you should have full MP, so cast Curaja and other useful spells before your MP was drained again.

3. Facing other bosses - 2
Another annoying move is Curse, which will send you some very bad statuses. Equip Ribbon for your healer when he readies Curse (be sure always read the information message on the top left screen), once the Curse sent, cast Esunaga to cure your party. If you didn't get Ribbon before, better set a Gambit to use Smelling Salts for everyone. The toughest part is Fenrir summoned, I recommend use a shield to block Fenrir attack, although you can't block every single hit,
but at least you would get lesser attacks from him. As for Phoenix, Dispel and send it Blind status. Like mentioned on the Phoenix boss strategy, the faster you sent the Blind, the easier this will become.

4. Final showdown
After all, Darkness God's barrier should be gone, attack him again. Since its name call Darkness God, no doubt for using Holy, Excalibur could help lot too. Remember, the damage of each weapon attack to the Shadowseer/Darkness God will be returned 7% on your own, let say your damage is 5000, your character will get 350 damage him/herself. As his HP getting lesser, his defence power will be highly increased, but if you continue attack him with all your best weapons
with a healer support this fight should be done safely, just take a little longer to reduce his remaining HP.
